Boxer Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Ava is a sweet, timid girl. She is shy at first & does better with women than men. Once she warms up she is a cuddle bug & loyal companion. Her adopter will need patience & understand that Ava had some rough spots in her past which has lead her to feel unsure at times. She will need a confident, gentle leader to build her confidence & make her feel safe. She loves to play with toys, play fetch & go for walks. Ava gets along with most dogs her own size. She likes to chase cats. Ava does well with children at least 10 yrs old. Ava is 3 1/2 yrs old, spayed, microchipped, Heartworm negative & up to date on all vaccines. Streethearts Animal ... (Read More)Rescue always tries to find a lost dog's owner during their stray hold & for some time after during their vetting process before placing a dog up for adoption. Most all dogs that are in this rescue are found lost, running or abandoned are not microchipped or spay/neutered (vaccine status is always unknown). They are very often in poor health, emaciated, injured or Heartworm positive when they are rescued. Usually, more often than not, the owner is not found which we sometimes see as a blessing to the dog that obviously was not well taken care of. We sometimes have dogs that are surrendered to us. Streethearts Animal Rescue always strives to find the very best homes for our rescue dogs, fitting them to the right potential new owner. We take care of all their vetting & medical needs prior to being available for adoption. Woody's ideal adopter will have experience with Cocker Spaniels since he can be a bit hard headed, have a fenced in yard or be an active outdoor person that likes to go for walks. He does not get along with children, so an adult only home is required. Woody does get along great with other dogs, but it is not known if he will do well with cats. American Staffordshire Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Blitzen, who has the appearance of an American Staffordshire Terrier & Boxer mix! She is 3 1/2 yrs old, weighs 50 lbs, is short in stature, dog friendly & loves children of all ages. We suggest no cats since she is driven to chase them. Blitzen loves car rides, playing, loves to snuggle up beside you & will give you puppy kisses. She is gentle, with a vibrant personality, loves to play & would make a wonderful companion to a person or family. Although Blitzen is crate-trained, she does well if left alone loose while nobody is home. She is spayed, microchipped, potty-trained, crate trained, learning leash manners, & up to date on all ...     Hogan is a big lover boy & will make someone a wonderful, loyal companion! He came into rescue after he was found as a stray & his owners never stepped forward for him.     TASHA is approximately 3 years old in. She is a really sweet dog and listens well. She is house & crate trained. We believe she may be a Floppy-Eared Dutch Shepherd mix. She fits all the characteristics, but as with all rescues, the breed mix stated is a speculation Tasha is 100% vetted- Spayed, microchip, fecal test, HW negative, UTD on all vaccines. She has no health issues. Tasha requires at least a 5 ft fence due to her ability to scale anything less.
